Liza's Best and Worst of the CFDA Awards

Well it's another one of my favorite fashion events of the year... the CFDA Awards, where all the best designers are acknowledged and awarded for their talent and pure brilliance. So many of our favorites were there, including both designers and celebrities. Although I felt everyone looked pretty much amazing at the event, there of course were a few blunders. Here are my picks for best and worst dressed.  Enjoy! XO, Liza

Best Dressed

Sophie Bucai in her own design by Vena Cava- I absolutely love the girls of Vena Cava. Their designs are feminine, with just a tad of edge. This was by far my favorite dress from the CFDA Awards. I love the little cap sleeves... and is the bottom of the dress not just incredible? I love it so so much. Want it!

Alexis Bledel in Behnaz Sarafpour- One of my all time favorites... how can you not love Rory from Gilmore Girls? She may not be the best actress, but she is so adorable and always hits it on the money when it comes to fashion. This dress is so beautiful. Shimmer and sparkle, but not at all tacky. Perfect.

Alexa Chung in Marc Jacobs- Ah Alexa Chung... why are you always impeccably dressed? Marc Jacobs hasn't been doing it for me lately, but I love this dress on Alexa. It works for her and she looks great.

Worst Dressed

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen and Sasha Pivovarova in The Row- Ok... don't get me wrong. I adore The Row. I have a few pieces from the girls high end line and they are great. But here the twins look so shlumpy! They are so tiny and are being swallowed by so much fabric. Not to mention they are only 24 and are dressed like old little ladies. I love Sasha's necklace, but everything else on her is meh. Come on MK and Ash...

Whitney Port in David Meister- Ugh. This just looks like a cheesy cheap prom dress to me. Whitney lately has been dressed so cute, but I don't like this at all. She looks better in short dresses, as she has those long dancer legs. Ahh... oh well.
